A group of writers in Singapore was able to raise $33,000 for charity by writing a book in a day.
According to a report on Channel NewsAsia, the amateur group was able to sell 1,000 copies of its book this weekend. It hopes to sell more copies later.

All the money will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charity which helps children who have life-threatening  illnesses.
