RealWorld Paint is a portable image/photo/animation editor.
Its major features include:
•Layers with styles - all the usual ones like bevel, shadow, or outline and also custom layer styles for effects like automatic symmetry.
•Import/export of Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.net files with layers. In case of Photoshop, even some of its layer styles are imported.
•Animations - create/edit animated GIFs. Each frame is a layered image. Decent built-in GIF optimizer.
•Photo-retouching tools - cloning, cropping (with perspective removal), shape changing (~liquify), red-eye removal, gamma-correct resampling and blending.
There is more:
•Command line interface for drawing tools - easily enter exact coordinates when drawing shapes.
•In-place calculator - use simple expressions (like "256/3") when setting filter parameters in the GUI.
•Downloadable (community created) language packs, image brushes, bumpmaps, layer styles, seamless patterns for filling, and plug-ins. Downloaded media are stored in a sqlite-driven tagged library in the app folder.
•Ability to use Photoshop-compatible image filters.
•Automatic updates.
•And a cute splash screen :-).
