Taking a Break from the Stresses of Spawning.
Just above, you can see Flame, a mature female so-called Red Zebra. You can just barely see the eggs in her mouth. She was spawning, before and after this picture was taken, inside a different Cichlid Stone, then taking a break from time to time inside this one. Cichlid Stones make many types of fish more interesting to watch.

Just Hanging Out
The picture, just above, shows a male Bushymouth Plecostomus species, and he loves just hanging out inside the passageways of this hollow ceramic Cherrywood Stump, which is listed just below on this page and is an ideal cave for many types of pet fish.

Loaches Exploring Ceramic Driftwood Logs.
The four pictures above show a Clown Loach and a Yoyo Loach poking their heads in and out of Ceramic Driftwood Logs. Loaches love to explore these ornaments, and it's fun to watch them going in and out. The Ceramic Driftwood Logs makes life much more interesting for many types of pet fish.

It's amazing the way Serpae Tetras, like the one shown above, like to swim near these ceramic ornaments. You can almost always find them clustered near the tallest ornament.

The Rainbow Shark, just above, swims out of one of the many openings in this Ceramic Driftwood Ornament. Having a good place to hide is a big stress reducer for most pet fish.
