Scientists at Northwestern University in the United States have noticed that music can help a person especially learn a language easier.

In their study, they tried to teach the Chinese language. They found that people who could play a  musical instrument had an easier time learning Chinese than those who did not.

The scientists at Northwestern believe that schools with a good music program will have  a good language program, as well.
