Your eyes

Oh what a storm your eyes brew

Your eyes conceal the secrets of the world

And like an endless night I can see

 all the joys, anxieties

all laughters and weepings of the world in them

چشم های تو چه غوغایی می کند

چشم های تو راز جهان را با خود دارند

و همچون شبی بی انتها

من تمام شادی ها ،اضطراب ها ،

تمامی خنده ها و گریه های جهان را در آنها می بینم

How much I remember my childhood when I look into them

I can see my happy moments, my fears and my griefs in your eyes

From which land have you arisen

That you have illuminated this dark corner of the world?

And your eyes blaze like lanterns

Brimful of a feeling of kindness

Are your eyes suns, an evening, an evening lamp

Say, what are they?

And believe me

They embody all these things

And I don’t know what are they

But they are noble

And portray human nobility

 من چقدر یاد کودکی می افتم

وقتی به آنها نگاه می کنم

خوشی هایم را ،ترس هایم را ،و غم هایم را در چشم های تو می بینم

تو از کدامین سرزمین تابیدی

که این گوشه تاریک جهان را روشن کردی

و چشمانت فانوس وار شعله ورند

و لبریز از احساس محبت

چشمان تو آفتابند،شبند،چراغند،کدامند؟

و باور کن ،همه آنها هستند

و نمی دانم چیستند

اما نجیب اند و نجابت بشری را ترسیم می کنند
